Joomla is an open source content management system (CMS), founded in September 2005 as a fork from Mambo. Joomla is one of the three most popular open source content management systems in the world. A major advantage of using a CMS is that it requires almost no technical skill or knowledge to manage. Since the CMS manages all your content, you don't have to.
